Paku Privacy Policy

Personal Information

Paku’s app developer cares deeply about your privacy. Paku doesn’t collect any personal information.

Location

Paku uses the location services of your device to determine which AQI values to display. The location data never leaves your device, and is not included in analytics.

When you add a private sensor to Paku, the location of that sensor is reported to us by PurpleAir. That location is stored on our servers so that the application can display the sensor on the map (just like public sensors). The location may be revealed to other users, in the form of the sensor appearing on the map, or through our API. If you’re uncomfortable with the location of your private sensor being used this way, you should not add the private sensor to Paku.

Analytics

Paku uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage data, such as app launches. By using Paku, you are subject to TelemetryDeck’s Privacy Policy. Paku also uses Bugsnag to collect anonymous debugging information when the application crashes. By using Paku, you are subject to Bugsnag’s Privacy Policy. Apple may also send anonymous analytics information to the developer.

PurpleAir

Paku uses PurpleAir sensor data. By using Paku, you are subject to PurpleAir’s Privacy Policy. Your location is never sent to PurpleAir.

RevenueCat

Paku uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. By using Paku, you are subject to RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

Updates

This policy may be updated at any time. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are familiar with any changes.
